Today we are looking to bring on a Project Manager to our team. Below are the duties and responsibilities for this position:

The Project Manager will manage new customer and part projects for both Aerospace and Medical.

Project Input Management: Responsible for capturing information from regulatory requirements, customer needs, product performance, lessons learned, and sales strategy information. Sources engaged in process include: Customer, Regulatory Agencies, Sales, R&D Engineer.

Project Management Process:

  • Identify product (new or modified)
  • Assign all project team members
  • Identify product breakdown & create SOW (Statement of Work)
  • Decide make or buy (subcontracted) components
  • Cascade requirements to subcontractor
  • Revise project plan if necessary and review / finalize with customer
  • Agree on timing based on risks or issues, and move plan to “Started”
  • Perform assessments based on deliverables
  • Escalate issues and get management feedback and support
  • Track all project changes, reasoning and activities
  • This role will oversee multiple projects at once, including schedule, on-time status & cost information

Manufacturing Engineer

SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineer supports in job processing projects. The Manufacturing Engineer works to improve the process of jobs by making them more efficient.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Be able to perform all the duties of the Process Engineer as needed and as follows
  • Creates custom tooling design
  • Fixture design & travelers
  • New job processing
  • SPC creation and monitoring
  • PFMEA updating / monitoring
  • Determining rework of RMA jobs
  • Perform 2nd Engineer reviews as needed.
  • Class 2 jobs
  • Issue PO’s to outside suppliers
  • Customer revision changes (ECN)
  • Internal CAR’s
  • Part disposition
  • Submittal of parts for VRR (Vendor Rejection Report)
  • Assist and perform internal AS auditing
  • 3D printer maintenance as requested
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner which will exceed their expectations.
  • Reports to personnel as described in the Company’s organizational structure.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

Two-year Manufacturing Engineering or at least two years of job shop experience, either as support for engineering department or actual manufacturing experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS AS FOLLOWS

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, with the English language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Have a strong background in trigonometry and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Possess a strong ability to think logically to solve manufacturing problems, or while evaluating a new process. Must not only think in an engineering mind-set but also in relation to business as far as cost is concerned.

CNC Swiss Machine Operator/Machinist

C&S Machine is a contract manufacturer specializing in ultra-precision complex components for the aerospace, industrial, defense, medical, and small arms industries. Since our inception in 1966, we have been manufacturing some of the most difficult parts for the world’s most demanding industries. This includes specializing in CNC tuning, 5-axis milling, grinding, EDM, honing, lapping, laser marking, testing, and cleaning. We are growing and need qualified employees ready to be a part of a thriving, strong team environment!

C&S is looking for a skilled Swiss Machine Operator/Machinists for 1st and 2nd shift to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the continuous and efficient running of production within our Swiss cells.

A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency, profits as well as maintaining the highest quality parts.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle

2. Program machines (depending on experience level)

3. Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)

4. Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines

5. Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools

6. Test operating of machines periodically

7. Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws

8. Keep records of approved and defective unites or final products

9. Maintain activity logs

10. If designated by the team leader, has the authority to perform 1st Article Inspections.

11. Responsible to verify changes to production processes are assessed to confirm that the desired effect has been achieved without adverse effects to product conformity.

 

Requirements

Previous experience as a Swiss machine operator preferred
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
Understanding of production procedures
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
Analytical skills
Attention to detail
Teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina and strength

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

At least a high school diploma or GED or must be currently attending high school while working as a co-op student. Must be developing a working background of machine experience.

Must be able to read English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must be able to perform basic math skills and keep accurate product counts.

CNC Grind Machine Operator/Machinist

C&S Offers a great 2nd shift incentive. Earn an extra $45/night or $450/pay check by working 2nd shift hours!

A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency, profits as well as maintaining the highest quality parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Has working knowledge of equipment within the cell.
  2. Performs maintenance as required per the schedules.
  3. Should be able to operate all the equipment within the cell.
  4. Must be able to adjust machinery as designated by the team leader.
  5. Must be able to assist other team members regarding training within the cell.
  6. Must work in a conscientious fashion, keep work area and equipment neat and clean and practice basic safety habits.
  7. Must set a good example for co-workers and be a responsible individual.
  8. Responsible for checking the quality of parts ran and may shut down the respective machine if a problem arises and notify the team leader.
  9. Has authority, as assigned on a case by case basis by the team leader, to make program offsets and tool changes.  Team leader may remove this right at any time.
  10. The ability to perform 1st article inspections per C&S approval requirements.
  11. If designated by the team leader, may be able to program and set-up.
  12. Responsible to verify changes to production processes are assessed to confirm that the desired effect has been achieved without adverse effects to product conformity.
  13. Reports to personnel as described in the Company’s organizational structure.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
