C&S is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team! The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for understanding our customer’s needs and confirming that C&S is exceeding their expectations. The Senior Process Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Manager to support the entire Engineering Department, bringing best practices and overall knowledge of engineering.
Experience in Aerospace a definite plus!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to customer requests in a timely manner which will exceed their expectations.
- Effectively communicates with customers daily as needed.
- New job processing assignment
- 2nd Engineer kickbacks and review
- PFMEA creation and monitoring
- Quoting input / print review for President
- Determining rework of RMA jobs
- Troubleshooting of ideas with shop floor for product improvement
- LTA Management
- Customer PPAP creation / submittal
- Customer CAR submittal
- Time phase review for jobs and load engineering
- Support and assist other Engineers as needed
- Data collection projects for upper management
- Part disposition
- Submittal of parts for VRR (Vendor Rejection Report)
- SPC creation and monitoring
- Stock material inventory monitoring
- Control of documents in IQS – addition and obsoletion
- Participates in Kaizen’s

PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience in a manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS AS FOLLOWS
Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, with the English language.
College level trigonometry.
Possess a strong ability to think logically to solve manufacturing problems, or while evaluating a new process. Must not only think in an engineering mind-set but also in relation to business as far as cost is concerned.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Esprit for wire EDM.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvements. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment. Thinks independently. Shows initiative, anticipates and prevents problems. Mechanical aptitude and visual acuity. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Must be fully computer literate regarding applications software. Previous experience in Aerospace a plus.
